SHiNE sets itself apart from other dance fitness formats in a few different ways.
First, it’s rooted in traditional ballet, jazz and hip hop, so it has a much greater appeal to those who consider themselves REAL dancers (think drill team, dance and cheer girls all grown up)!
At the same time, it is choreographed SMARTLY, making it easy to pick up for those who DON’T think of themselves as dancers (myself included)! We use top 40 pop and hip hop music, which is familiar and fun for our students. It truly feels like a party, but you’re left 600-800 calories lighter (and SORE the next day)!
That’s another thing that sets SHiNE apart — toning! Our choreography is so smart, there is a great deal of toning that happens without our students even noticing. Lunges, squats, and calf work GALORE. We even do arm and ab work! It’s truly an incredible full body workout disguised as a night at the club with your girlfriends.
